Similar packaging and matrix to Goldfrapp - Felt Mountain, but this version has a different barcode on a sticker placed over the barcode printed on the packaging directly. Issued in a Digipak with 4 page booklet. Disc 1 in a clear plastic tray on the right. Disc 2 housed on a soft button on the left inside cover.

Goldfrapp is an awesome band and I respect them for taking risks and doing different things with their music. However, I must be honest when I say this cd is not as a great as Felt Mountain, but it is better than Black Cherry. On this album, the music can only be described as "out-of-space glam"/5().

Brilliant. This glowing, icy album lives in some alternate universe that's deserted and decaying yet weirdly beautiful, thanks to Allison Goldfrapp's revelation of a voice and songs that sneak in and curl up inside you. "Felt Mountain" is one -- so intimate it almost hurts -- .

Sep 19,  · Felt Mountain opens with "Lovely Head," a track that juxtaposes a shuffling drum beat and whistling that sounds like it could be 50 years old with futuristic analog beeps. Goldfrapp.

Sep 11,  · “Felt Mountain” is composed of light yodeling, whip crack sounds and strings. In an interview with Yahoo Music, Alison said: “Felt Mountain” was this idea of a wolf being whipped in this.
