Although Archie Fisher is probably the most respected Scottish singer/songwriter of his generation, his recorded output is surprisingly limited; 's Sunsets I've Galloped Into is only his fourth studio album in nearly three decades. In terms of Fisher's vocals, songwriting, and choice of outside material, Sunsets I've Galloped Into is typically excellent.

History. Archie and Jughead were best friends since childhood. Fred recalled Archie sneaking out at night to go to Jughead's treehouse. They were supposed to go on a road trip over the weekend of July 4th, but Archie canceled at the last minute to hook up with Geraldine Grundy, with whom he was having an robmiretsuberaperteczgavevicmidd.coinfome afterwards, Jughead and Archie got into a serious fight that disrupted.

While the mainstream's a poorer place for that, one gets the idea it suits Archie Fisher just fine. Fisher was born into a family of semi-professional musicians and learned to play the guitar at a young age. Fisher and his sister Ray formed a skiffle group in the mid-'50s, as most musically inclined young Britons did around that time.

Archie Fisher's voice is pure magic -- and the songs he writes (or, in some cases, chooses) match it perfectly. The melodies are haunting and beautiful, but what really stands out for me in these selections is the pure quality of the words -- this is poetry at its finest/5(7).
