Now as others have pointed out, this isn't quite the same Proto-Metal giants Iron Butterfly of In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida fame. However this is a pretty solid mids Rock album in it's own right. " In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida " (derived from "In the Garden of Eden") is a song recorded by Iron Butterfly and written by bandmember Doug Ingle, released on their album In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida. At slightly over 17 minutes, it occupies the entire second side of the In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida album.

Few songs are more instantly recognized – or more influential, famous, and, yes, notorious – than Iron Butterfly's "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida." The anchor of the mind-trip of an album of the same name, it occupies an entire side of an LP and runs for 17 minutes and five seconds, both bold moves in that changed how artists approached music in the studio and how listeners experienced it at home.
