From the Album The Best Of Cream 20th Century Masters The He wrote the lyrics, Eric Clapton wrote the music. The song is from the psychedelic blues rock masterpiece, Disraeli Gears. Sharp also did the cover art for this album. it's the same song as Tales Of Brave Ulysses. Somebody out there with a two cd decks and a mixing board need to /5(14).

Apr 07,  · It was Disraeli Gears that turned Cream into a "supergroup." Here they pursue the psychedelic ideals of the era with total abandon (the LP cover art still stands as one of the s' most striking designs), merging these ideals with their take on the blues and adorning the amalgamation with some superb pop craftsmanship/5().

[citation needed] Although they consistently played "Tales of Brave Ulysses" and "Sunshine of Your Love", several songs from Disraeli Gears were quickly dropped from performances in mid, favouring longer jams instead of short pop songs. "We're Going Wrong" was the only additional song from the album the group performed live.

Cream teamed up with producer Felix Pappalardi for their second album, Disraeli Gears, a move that helped push the power trio toward psychedelia and also helped give the album a thematic coherence missing from the debut9/
